Ready-to-print typeset of “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz” by L. Frank Baum with original illustrations by W.W. Denslow. I have kept as close as possible to the formatting of the first edition of this story. However, this edition is in black and white, and I have chosen not to place text over illustrations, which made portions of the original book difficult to read.

Complete text in PDF – Interior text only. I have included the original endpapers, but no cover or cover design are included. 19 signatures (4 sheets of paper/16 pages) — 304 pages in total.
Original Format PDF (NOT FOR PRINT): Copy of the book in its original format (before imposition) to assist with arranging pages in signatures. Because of the way the original book is formatted, there are several consecutive pages without page numbers. The Original Format PDF is provided to make these unusual page sequences easy to identify and to help ensure that each signature is assembled in the proper order.
Typesetting has been done with careful attention to font selection, running headers, word and letter spacing, kerning, leading, and the elimination of widows and orphans.
Every illustration has been individually cleaned, restored, and optimized for clear printing. Original color illustrations have been carefully converted to black and white, with brightness and contrast adjusted by hand to preserve the line work.
Print at home on 8.5″ x 11″ paper. Produces a 4.25″ x 5.5″ textblock when pages are cut in half and folded. You will need a printer capable of double-sided printing.
Includes a Bookbinding Checklist outlining the techniques and measurements I use for this specific book size.
